More eclectic highlights include a collection of hand-colored photographs of French criminals from the 1920's, a suite of photographs from the archives of the U.S. Steel Company, and a substantial inventory of daguerreotypes, ambrotypes and tintypes. Charles Schwartz also has a deep interest in Japanese photography and has an extensive offering of 19th and 20th century works from Japan, including rare ambrotypes.
