Panopticon Gallery - Boston - USA

Panopticon Gallery is one of the oldest fine art photography galleries in the United States specializing in contemporary, modern and vintage photography. We represent established and emerging photographers with a primary focus on developing and expanding their careers. The gallery regularly assists collectors in buying, selling and locating photographs and supports local educational institutions and regional art museums. The Panopticon Gallery is located inside the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston, Massachusetts.
In 2010, Jason Landry acquired the Panopticon Gallery from the original owner Antony Decaneas, who ran the gallery for nearly 40 years in and around Boston. Landry brings over 20 years of business management and photography experience to the gallery. Landry received a BFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and went on to earn an MFA in Visual Arts from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. Before taking over the gallery, he worked at the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University in various capacities including their Education Manager, Project Manager, Programs and Operations Manager and a member of their Board of Directors. Antony Decaneas will continue to be a consultant of the gallery and manage the estates of Bradford Washburn, Ernest C. Withers, Vittorio Sella and co-manage the archives of Harold Feinstein through Decaneas Archive.
